September is....

Life Insurance Awareness Month!

I know this because I sell Life Insurance for a living. I am only throwing this out here today becuase I think it is important. Do you realize how much it would help your family after you are gone? I know this firsthand since my husband and I have both lost parents and loved ones. One comment I frequently hear from customers is that they believe they have enough life insurance through their employer. There are three important things you should know if you're relying on life insurance through work - first, what would happen if you lose or leave your job? Secondly, what happens if you develop an illness that would prevet you from purchasing life insurance if you leave your current employer? Lastly, what if you evaluate your financial obligations and realize that your employers life insurance policy would cover them? Each person's situation is unique...therefore, I urge YOU to contact your Insurance Agent and let them evaluate your needs.

On a different note, I have been in Silsbee, Tx for a few days taking care of my step-dad who has had back surgery. He doesn't want to evacuate for the hurricane, I don't blame him...I know it would be awful sitting in all that traffic. So...I am hoping that he just gets a little rain and wind nothing major. He's far enough away from the coast that he should be fine.

Anyways, Hope everyone has a great weekend. We are hoping to get in a little OSU football and maybe a day at the Kay County Fair!! WOOHOO :)

I always had life insurance through my work but I also went out and got life insurance through our agent after my son's father passed away four years ago. He was only 41 years old. :( It taught us so many lessons on so many levels! :(

Love you Woman!
