September is....

Life Insurance Awareness Month!

I know this because I sell Life Insurance for a living. I am only throwing this out here today becuase I think it is important. Do you realize how much it would help your family after you are gone? I know this firsthand since my husband and I have both lost parents and loved ones. One comment I frequently hear from customers is that they believe they have enough life insurance through their employer. There are three important things you should know if you're relying on life insurance through work - first, what would happen if you lose or leave your job? Secondly, what happens if you develop an illness that would prevet you from purchasing life insurance if you leave your current employer? Lastly, what if you evaluate your financial obligations and realize that your employers life insurance policy would cover them? Each person's situation is unique...therefore, I urge YOU to contact your Insurance Agent and let them evaluate your needs.

On a different note, I have been in Silsbee, Tx for a few days taking care of my step-dad who has had back surgery. He doesn't want to evacuate for the hurricane, I don't blame him...I know it would be awful sitting in all that traffic. So...I am hoping that he just gets a little rain and wind nothing major. He's far enough away from the coast that he should be fine.

Anyways, Hope everyone has a great weekend. We are hoping to get in a little OSU football and maybe a day at the Kay County Fair!! WOOHOO :)

Back to School!! Yippeeeee

The kids are back in school and I am a happy momma!! :) So far so good, they love their classes and their teachers.

Lots of drama in my life lately...which is soooo unnecessary! I have got to get back on track with my cardio and eating. I have such motivation one day and then absolutely none the next day. I lift everyday at 6am the problem is then I have to get cardio done later in the day - this used to not be a big deal until just recently.... and all of a sudden I have done NONE. Hubby is not being real supportive lately and the comments that he makes, well let's just say they leave a sour taste in my mouth and I think (ugh) I just won't go then! I have asked for Shannon's help in maybe sending me a text ever so often to let me know what she did for the day, just a friendly little comment, or even a photo of some sexy chick giving me motivation to look like that! hehe So hopefully this will help me get back on track and make some new friends and ignore all the negativity around me! Well, I had better go so I can eat my can of tuna!!! Good thing I like all the food Beka lets me eat.

I'm still here...just a little

I can't believe I haven't updated since AUGUST!!???WTF???

Anyways, not much going on here to report. Home life and work are still going strong, things are good and I am blessed. School is almost out and we are in full swing with softball and t-ball. I can't wait for things to slow down just a little bit. Our laptop crashed and so I am only on at work and don't get much time to read or catch up on Tracker or blogs, but I am trying.

One of the better things going on right now....I am training with Beka!!

Yep, she is whippin me into shape :) Hubby and I will be attending the KC BFL Event in June and I will be a new woman by then!!

Pics and updates to follow...
