I am a procrastinator....

Let's see, today I made an eye appt because I have been wearing my last pair of contacts for ummmm 7 months instead of the 3 months they are supposed to last.

Then I made a hair appt because I have been putting it off since I was unhappy with my latest stylist. It is probably going to cost me a fortune to have it highlighted and trimmed since I have waited again about 6 mos!! YIKES I look pretty scary right now and I know I will feel much better after these two things are completed. I really need to tan and get my nails done pronto!

Then I finally ordered my halloween costume for the annual party we attend. I have been putting it off to see if my ass could possibly get a little smaller...Don't know if it has but had to order it to get it here to see if it will fit! We are going as Hugh Hefner and Playboy Bunny...Lord help me! I only hope to look half as good as the model does in the pic!!

My Insurance License expires in November and I still have 16 hrs of Continuing Education I have to complete. Will try to get that done this weekend on the internet.

I have lots of planning to do before Tennessee. In the midst of the everyday things, they talked me into signing up for MORE stuff at both of my kids' schools. I am thankful that I am self-employed and can pretty much take any time off that is needed, but I may have signed on for too many things??? I am kind of a people pleaser and rarely say no... The one thing that has not been thrown to the side are my workouts (cause my housecleaning sure has!). Things are going good and I feel smaller and more healthy. My inner clock is finally kicking in and I actually get out of bed before the alarm goes off! This helps also to not wake the children (LOL) which would then deter me from getting to the gym. The things we do to get some alone time!

I think I am meeting up with Jen (1leanmom) and her family this Saturday so that our families can meet before we take off to Tenn. Then we are going out for a night of dancing to shake some boootie off! So it shall be a fun weekend. Geez, is it only WED???

How much progress can I make

in the remaining four weeks until Tennessee~~ I am hoping alot! I did some cardio Sat during the OU/Oregon game. I just couldn't stay at the house with all the guys. We played a little poker and I had a little too many Patron Ritas...not feeling so well on Sun. UUUGGGGHHHH Today fully recovered and won't have another drink until after Tenn. Tonight was the eliptical for 30min at level 7. I think I burned 630 cal and went 3.6 miles. Not too bad for an extra night of cardio. Tomorrow is UBWO and the one I look forward to the most. I am determined not to get down on myself. Keep plugging along.

Did ya watch Oprah's season opener today? Too funny! Can you believe she took the whole crew to Hawaii? How lucky are they and their families... wish I worked for her it has got to be a ball.

What a GREAT week!

I have resisted temptation over and over again this week!! I have done so well I am afraid for next week, I don't know if it will be great again or if I will completely fall off the wagon. I am such a critic of myself. I got an email today from The Biggest Loser that reads:

Admit it, You're Terrific

Here's what happens: you're about to go to the gym, when you think, "Why bother? I'm already so out of shape and overweight and lazy, I might as well just sit here."

In the same way you taught yourself to be your worst critic, you can just as easily teach yourself to be your most loving coach. Success begins when you stop being so hard on yourself and celebrate everything you have going for you.Try this simple exercise:

What do you like about yourself right now? Take out a piece of paper and make a list of all your likeable qualities. Keep going until this list is as long as you can make it. You might include things like: I have sexy eyes, I have thick hair, I can make people laugh, I am a good cook, I'm creative, I'm trustworthy, I'm a good friend, or I'm intelligent.

Keep adding to this list as you get in better shape. In fact, read it to yourself whenever you get the chance.

Positive thinking can help you develop self acceptance and body confidence. So go ahead and like yourself. Right now!


I also saw a clip of Ellen this week and she is doing a Life List. I am going to check this out a little more and make one of my own. I never really have set any goals for myself and think that is one reason I am so critical of myself. My first goal is to become a more outgoing person. I am really shy and even starting this blog was pretty hard for me...LOL

Here's to a great weekend, I am not even going to have a cheat meal. Maybe that will keep me on track with my no cheats YEAH

Why is it sooo hard

to not eat the Shells & Cheese that I am making for the kids?? LOL Things have been going well, DH says he hasn't seen me this motivated in a while. I have been doing extra cardio in the mornings and after my evening workouts. I have done real well on the eating, I would say only two unauthorized bites so far this week. Our AC is still out at the office (which really sucks) and that puts me in a cranky mood by 5pm! Since school has started we have been lifting from 8-9pm and I have found that definitely is a plus since I am not home to eat!! Meals as follows:

M1 2 egg whites/1 slice ww toast
M2 Tuna salad on 1 slice ww bread
M3 Same
M4 string cheese and handful of ww dry chex cereal
M5 peanut butter on 1 slice ww bread
M6 chicken breast and salad

1 gallon of water daily

I still haven't lost one freaking pound though!! It is the week of TOM so I am hoping next week I see a loss. PLEASE PLEASE!!
